Clinicians-in-Training at Mandala House

Why do we engage in training?

Training the next generation of mental health practitioners is essential to the vision and mission of Mandala House. We believe that the mental health field, our current providers, and our community benefit when we invest in the growth and development of clinicians-in-training. Training new clinicians helps us to keep our skills current and provides additional opportunities to think about the ways in which we work with clients and why. Articulating this helps us to be ever more thoughtful about our work. We believe that our values of diversity, collaboration, accessibility, and honoring complexity are important for the future of mental health, and we are pleased to participate in shaping future clinicians and the broader field of mental health care in our community. We interview multiple candidates each year and select well prepared individuals who share our values and commitment to care.
