Dr. Jacks Gilles
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Gilles knows therapy is a challenging and vulnerable process and works to create a space that is both safe and reflective of the reverence they hold for their clients and the work. Dr. Gilles is strongly committed to understanding, non-judgment, respect, empowerment, and celebration of individual differences and struggles. They have been described as a "calming presence" and as someone who has a "strong ability to take others' perspectives." Perhaps this is why Couples Therapy is a favorite for Dr. Gilles.

Colgan Tyler
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Mr. Colgan Tyler's psychotherapy treatment specializes work with young males, adult men and women and families in crisis. Using an eclectic approach, he gives the client the space and support to tell their own story, guides and witnesses them in self-discovery, and collaborates to change elements within their realm of control. Mr. Tyler is committed to the idea that young males and men, like all human beings, need to be recognized and valued as creative, powerful, and sensitive individuals within their social contexts. An important part of mental health treatment is being seen by and building a relationship with a present, empathetic and trained professional.

Michael May
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Michael May, MA, LPCC-S is a Clinical Associate and the Supervision & Training Coordinator at Mandala House. Within his clinical practice, Michael is deeply committed to providing evidence-based psychotherapy for adolescents and adults especially LGBTQIA+ individuals) presenting with anxiety-related concerns and, in particular, obsessive-compulsive disorder. In addition, Michael works with clients experiencing a wide array of presenting concerns including depression, difficulties resulting from traumatic experience, and sexual and gender identity development.

Ariel Brooks
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Ariel Brooks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who holds master’s degrees in both Social Work and Pan-African Studies. She believes that every client is an individual living within a larger system that impacts their well-being, and that change must happen on multiple levels to truly improve someone's quality of life. Though she enjoys working with all ages and presenting issues, Ariel specializes in adolescents, the LGBTQ community, and victims of racial oppression. She believes that improving a client's confidence and sense of safety is a crucial part of the therapeutic process and meeting with a therapist they can see themselves in makes this journey even better.

Lucie Erlebachova
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Lucie Erlebachova believes in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship. She understands, that at times, we all need to talk to someone who is non-judgmental, empowering, encouraging, and will hold our hope for change even if we feel like we are ready to give up. She meets clients where they are and supports them in finding a new path to a more fulfilling life. In 2021, Lucie became Certified Grief Counseling Specialist.

Rachel Archer
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Rachel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She believes that with the support of a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist, anyone is capable of taking their first step toward creating positive change. Her goal is to approach problems alongside her clients, with respect, curiosity, and care. She has had the privilege of training in racial trauma therapy and suicide prevention CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and looks forward to broadening her knowledge base further in the near future. She enjoys working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and struggles related to gender identity and sexual orientation.

Valerie Gholson-Day
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Valerie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holding a Masters degree from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, since 2012. Specializing in working with adults, couples, and teens, she has a history of working with a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues, trauma, behavior issues and feeling stuck.
Valerie is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for clients on their journey, guiding them through challenges toward understanding, learning, confidence, and the utilization of their strengths for lasting resolve and peace.

Kimmie Paul is a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. Holding a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville, she embarked on her mission to make a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.
Throughout her career, Kimmie has honed her skills in providing compassionate support to individuals and families grappling with a diverse range of mental health challenges. Her particular expertise lies in trauma-informed care and helping clients process the adverse experiences they have endured throughout their lives.
Brittney McCoy
Temporary Licensed Psychologist
Brittney McCoy, PsyD, TLP is a post-doctoral Supervised Clinical Associate at Mandala House. Within her clinical practice, Dr. McCoy is deeply committed to providing empathetic, evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan presenting with phase of life/adjustment concerns, interpersonal challenges, anxiety- or mood-related concerns, difficulties resulting from traumatic experiences, grief, and identity exploration and development (including gender and sexuality). Additionally, she works with couples/romantic partners and families.

Blaine Parker
Temporary Licensed Psychologist
Blaine Parker, Psy.D., TLP is thrilled to join the compassionate and collaborative team at Mandala House as a Supervised Clinical Associate, where he feels supported in his lifelong development as a psychologist whose work is invigorated by the prospects of growth and learning, and who honors the humanity of everyone. Central to Dr. Parker’s psychological services are his convictions that our species’ greatest asset is each other when working in harmony, and that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and not alone in their hardships.

Abbey Stone
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Abbey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Abbey approaches therapy with intersecting identities in mind and the client-therapist relationship at the center of the work. Abbey aims to cultivate a comfortable, and safe therapeutic space from which to work collaboratively. She enjoys working with young adults and adolescents, LGBTQ+ folx, as well as adults through the lifespan. She is experienced with issues of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, interpersonal trauma, PTSD, identity and personal growth, as well as relationships.

Kristopher Mandy
Temporary Licensed Psychologist
Kristopher earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Spalding University's School of Professional Psychology. Kristopher has a diverse background of experience including internship at the Louisville VA, where he worked with veterans on general mental health issues, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, substance use, and dual diagnosis. He has also held clinical positions in college counseling, community mental health, and public schools. Kristopher is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy by the Louisville VA. Additionally, he enjoys using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients increase psychological flexibility, develop acceptance, and generate committed action to change.

Brenda Morris-Huntoon
Licensed Psychological Associate
Brenda is a Licensed Psychological Associate who received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in 2014. After 30 years of practice as a dentist, Brenda pursued her passion for clinical work through psychology. Brenda’s special interest is working with individuals who are questioning gender, transgender, or gender non-conforming. She is a member of WPATH and follows WPATH standards of care in her practice. Brenda advocates for her clients by providing assessment/evaluation of readiness for Gender Affirming Surgeries.

Sebastian Crash Hamilton
Certified Social Worker
Sebastian (Crash) Hamilton (he/they) graduated with a Masters in Social Work from UofL's Kent School in May of 2023. He has been working as a therapist since June of 2023 and is excited to be part of the team at Mandala House. He is passionate about helping others in the LGBTQ+ community navigate the complexities of their identities, their relationship to themselves and others, and the challenges and losses that come along with living as a queer person. Sebastian wants to create a space of total support, focus, and grounding for the people he is working alongside. He wants to walk with them through the hard things and also celebrate their victories. He believes that everyone is greatly impacted by the people around them, and he wants to be part of fostering a supportive LGBTQ+ community in Louisville. Sebastian wants to accompany queer and trans people who are working through their goals, because we all deserve to thrive and not just survive.
